Paintless dent repair, unlike panel beating, is a special type of repair where on the most part it preserves the integrity of the paint. There are two basic repair processes: pushing dents with special tools and glue-and-pull where sliding hammer tools are used to provide brief tugs on glued tabs gradually pulling the dents out.
One of the misconceptions most people associate paintless dent repair with suction of dents. This is generally not the case and this industry has moved well away from some of these mis-understook processes.
